SQ / PF / EP Series

  Features

• The SQ/PF/EP Series of wall mounted square plate axial fans is suitable for a wide range of applications.
• Sizes range from 315 to 1250mm diameter, with a wide choice of speeds available.
• All square plates incorporate a bell-mouth entry, the direction of air flow must be nominated at time of order.

  Construction

• 315 - 710 - (A12) 800 - 1250 Pre-galvanised steel.

  Motors

• Type - squirrel cage induction motor which can be selected to suit virtually any specification.
• Electricity supply - single or three-phase to suit a wide range of voltages and frequencies.
• Bearings - ball.

Internal Thermal Protection

• Can be provided as an optional extra

  Special Features

• This product is suitable for a wide range of applications, including handling ambient filtered air to hot, toxic and noxious gases.
• All variations to standard air conditions must be nominated at time of enquiry.
• Inlet or discharge guards are optional extras.

  Suggested Specifications

• The SQ/PF/EP Series fans shall be of the SQ A/SQB design(s) as manufactured by AMS.
• All performances shall be based upon BS848: Part 1, 1980 or ISO5801:1997 for airflow and BS848: Part 2, 1985 for noise.
• Casings shall be hot dip galvanised mild steel.
• Impellers shall be of glass reinforced plastic (GRP), aluminium or anti-static as required; GRP is standard where selection permits.
• Other special requirements should be specified at time of quotation (refer to Special Features.)

Special Note

• Quick select envelope curves are shown above.
• Accurate selections can be made from Axial Flow Fans Performance Data p .C- 10/69.
• Selections should be made using Type A Installation.
• Axial Flow Fans Performance Data p. C-2/7 provide detailed information on these products with an example of how to use the curves on p.C-8.

Hazardous fume applications

• SQ/PF/EP Series fans can be made to accommodate requirements for corrosive fume and flameproof applications.
• Special coatings and alternative materials, such as stainless steel, are available as well as increased safety motors and anti-static impellers.
• Our sales engineers can assist with requirements, which must be specified at time of quotation.
